I love, love, love the Lord’s Prayer, as it holds a special place in my heart. When I was nine, I memorized it with a friend in order to help us keep the gates of hell closed. Perhaps we got a little too into the movie, The Gate, but the prayer brought us back in from that fear and was a nice salve on the terror of hellish demons swarming the Earth!

Since then, I’ve understood that, while I love this prayer, there are some intentions it doesn’t seem to touch that I would like to incorporate into a daily prayer. I asked the Spiritual Ancestors if they had an alternative or additional prayer to make sure I incorporate all of my intentions, daily. They offered this, in the style of the Lord’s Prayer.
