These were taken at the same time. The left is what I actually look like, as captured via Zoom which is ironically the only program I have that doesn't distort me. The right is what I've come to call the "ugly filter" which my phone and every other camera program I use does to me. Many have commented on my face looking weird in my phone photos specifically. I'd like to draw your attention to how this specific filter enlarges and squares my forehead, lengthens my face, and lengthens and often enlarges my chin. This is not an accident, has been happening for years, and is likely a hidden "social credit score" punishment. I share it mostly so others who are so afflicted with shitty software punishments can reclaim their sanity. If you know, you know.
